Luke 9:28b–36

Jesus journeys to a mountain with Peter, James, and John in this Sunday’s Gospel. While praying, Jesus becomes transfigured. His glory shows through as the ancient Israelite leaders Moses and Elijah speak with him. Then the voice of God tells the Apostles that Jesus is his Son. “Listen to him.”

Lucas 9.28b–36

Jesús sube a una montaña con Pedro, Santiago y Juan. Mientras rezan, Jesús se transfigura. Se puede ver su gloria mientras los antiguos dirigentes religiosos Moisés y Elías hablan con él. Luego la voz de Dios les dice a los Apóstoles que Jesús es su Hijo. “Escúchenlo”.
